I posted a comment this week with a link to this video.

It is important to note that the news segment and interview dates back to May of last year, six months before the LAPD released the GS sketches/composites (November).

What is perhaps most shocking about all this is that the LAPD originally felt that the survivor could not be trusted and she was dismissed as “traumatized” and kept in the dark about the fact that a serial killer was the one who had attacked and tried to kill her. Of course, it wasn’t until after the bullets from The Grim Sleeper’s gun were removed from the survivor’s body that the LAPD linked them to those found in the previous victims’ bodies and realized that a serial killer was on the loose–but I have a gut feeling she may have been able to help with the investigation.

Who is this nutcase who calls himself/herself VEGAS BABY posting in the forum section of this site???!!! If you read this Vegas Baby: do you know just how weird you sound? Could you just go away already? Thanks.

  • 4 Kate Says:

As weird as Vegas Baby sounds. Some points could be valid. I dont know about New Orleans. But I can tell you this picture #1 bugged me alot, because I have seen this person before. Now Vegas Baby claims this person is a contractor. Last year there was two men working on the apartment I lived in. Person #1 favors that person, but it was over a year ago and I need to see that person again before I accuse. But he was a small framed man and drive an old car. I need to get up the nerve and callthe owner and ask who was this man. He was very polite and had a hint of what I thought to be a jamacian accent. But again I have to see him again in order to verify this.
The picture #1 looks so familiar, Im racking my brain.

  • 5 Kate Says:

Second thought occurred to me. Vegas Baby might be rambling on purpose because that person is TGS and lives in Vegas now and is trying to hint this right under our nose. Scary but possibly true.

  • 6 WTF Says:

OK Kate, now you’re starting to sound nutty yourself.

Please, can we keep the discussion at least a little sane, people? Thanks.

  • 7 Justin Says:

For all we know, Vegas Baby MIGHT be telling the truth but we have no way to verify it. I totally disagree with his/her contention that TGS had worked with Thomas Steele (victim #3) as according to both America’s Most Wanted and other sources Steele was visiting his sister here in L.A. (from San Diego) when he was murdered. It’s also worth pointing out that when the survivor (Enietra Margette) ran into TGS and accepted a ride from him she did NOT know who he was (although he allegedly confused her with a local prostitute who physically resembled the survivor) and this disproves (in this case at least) Vegas Baby’s assertion that TGS knew his victims prior to killing them. In any case, we should all keep our eyes and ears open and hope and pray that TGS gets caught soon so that his victims can finally rest in peace and their families get justice.

This is from a March 1986 L.A. Times article:

“A woman who identified herself only as Sandra said she survived an attack by the killer, during which he told her: “My mother was a whore and I hate all whores.” She said a police composite of the killer is “definitely the man. It is a good drawing.”

    http://articles.latimes.com/1986-03-21/local/me-5185_1_serial-killer

I’ve never read about about this woman before. As far as I understand, “Enietra” is the only known survivor of the GS.

    So who is “Sandra”?

  • 9 WTF Says:

Is the 3/1986 article about another L.A. serial killer? Must be because it mentions fifteen murders since 1983 and the GS supposedly began killing in 1985.

Can anyone help with this? Site administrator?

Does anyone still post here other than me? Seems like people have lost interest.

  • 10 Kate Says:

I said that I thought alot of people lost interest in this too. Im trying to find this guy my eyes are fully alerted. Hope it does not take another killing to get people interested again…Hopeful he caught soon.

WTF: It seems your 1986 article is about a different case, but I am still unclear if the caught him or not, or what the name of that case was. Here are 2 other links I found talking about it:

Margaret Prescod is mentioned in the second article, but I’m still not clear on which serial killer case they’re talking about. There were several serial killers in L.A. in the 1970s and especially the 1980s. Chester Turner and John Floyd Thomas Jr. were both finally caught.

    Hello,

Detective Kilcoyne should contact my personal, clairvoyant psychic Edward Carrion who does not charge for assistance with solving murder cases. He’s a former police officer and an astoundingly accurate psychic. His insight would save time and money and bring healing to the victim’s families.

I hope that you’ll take this genuine and sincere advice.

    Adrian
