Grim Sleeper Forums
We’ve set-up a new forum because the comments on these main pages are becoming confusing to follow. Comments below mainsite posts (like this one) should directly apply to the post’s subject matter. Please make use of the forums for discussions and opinion on the Grim Sleeper Investigation and use the comments facility below each main-site post to comment only on that particular post entry.
.
Also I want to thank everyone for using the site up to this point. The discussions and comments have been really active and thought provoking. There are many comments that would make excellent forum threads so I am going to choose some and move them across to the forums to start a couple of active discussions.

Quick update: The post below regarding the scrap paper ‘puzzle’; It seems likely now, looking at the ABC video, that the number is an assigned case number. The mystery is with the two words ‘Jose Sola’ . There have been some very good theories as to the origin of those words. Thanks.

When I saw the number, employer identification number immediately came to mind. Ours looks very similar. Two letters, a dash, then seven more numbers. All of them are that way. Was Jose Sola and employee of a company with that EID Number?

Sonya: In one of the videos, the current investigating LAPD detective says the number is a case number. So, my impression is that the name is all that is questioned.. the case number was just a quick filing note by the original Officer putting that name into the GS file.

Did anyone bother to look at what day of the week the murder’s happend? I took a look back at the dates that were listed, they all fall on a friday or saturday. It’s been awhile since I have done this, however if I remember correctly the murders happened about every 2 weeks, so that to mean indicates that it was on a pay day. Have the police checked into finding out if there are any check cashing places, or banks near the church where the van was found, or near the murder scenes? I bet they find their man if they haven’t already checked into that.
